“A space can be like your own skin. It can be your interior and exterior, your mental space. Some people need a clean and organized environment to function. The interior of your mind can be so disorganized and unfocused that it cries out for a neat, clean and structured space in order to be focused. Some memories deserve a clean and monumental space. The objects or figur es are always depicted in a spatial environment. The space is my exterior and what is pictured in that space are my thoughts, my feelings and memories as the interior. Why is it that space becomes so important? Is it an emotional, material or an aesthetic thing? A comfortable manipulated space. When we enter a space we look. And we think. Am I comfortable? How can I make myself feel comfortable? We adapt. We manipulate the space with our body.”
